Expanded Duties Dental Assistant - PT (Healthcare) Our office is looking for a motivated and compassionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our culture-driven team part-time. This is a high-paced, patient focused office with a strong team. We are looking for a long-term addition who wants to find a permanent home. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: Positive attitudeTeam-orientedDesire to learn and growAbility to work flexible hoursPatient focusedHard workingExperience is a plus (willing to train the right candidate)Certificate of CDA and EDDACurrent CPR Certification Status Daily tasks to include: Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for providersAssisting providers during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needsTaking and processing X-rays of patientsProcessing lab work for the providersGreeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointmentsAdvising patients on recommended treatment and post Op careUpdating and maintaining health recordsHandling general administrative and other duties to optimize the practice This office is fully compliant and practices all recommended PPE practices.
