Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic public transportation environment, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report conditions, assist visitors and employees, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, transit riders, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at government transportation locations.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned transit facilities, platforms, stations, offices, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and public areas, observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations in accordance with post orders.
- Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
