Requirements Active KY or compact RN license in hand required at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of current LTACH experience required MS/Tele or ICU experience preferred Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Prior travel experience required Skilled in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and mechanical ventilation weaning Skilled in arterial line management, femoral popliteal bypass care, and vent training for home preferred Two professional references required, including one Charge or higher and one supervisor reference, both completed within the last year Driver's license required, with address matching permanent address Responsibilities Work in the LTAC ICU unit of a long-term acute care hospital Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 Uses Meditech EMR Night shift schedule rotating between 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts (19:00-7:30) 84 hours per two-week pay period on a 36/48 rotating schedule Every other weekend required Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated Provide comprehensive ICU-level care within an LTAC setting, including ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and complex wound care Manage patients with conditions such as ARDS, sepsis, CHF, GI bleeds, CVA, and renal failure Administer IV therapies including antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, thrombolytics, and continuous IV sedation Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted Up to 7 days of RTO considered, must be requested upfront with no changes accepted Must work either a major or minor holiday for every holiday period Traveler pairs accepted on a limited basis and will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of an offer Returning travelers must take a minimum 6-month break after working one year before becoming eligible to return Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-735281 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
