Pay Scale Base hourly compensation of $18.05. Commission: Based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved ($0.00 if no sales are made) with no upper limit. Production bonus: Based on individual or team performance ranging from $0.00 if baseline benchmarks are not met, also with no fixed upper limit. Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments, coordinate with technicians, and manage the flow of vehicles through the service bay. Problem Identification and Diagnosis: Assist in identifying vehicle issues through customer descriptions, visual inspections, and test drives, clarifying issues for technicians. Work Order Preparation: Prepare detailed repair orders, including time and cost estimates, and document customer concerns for technicians. Customer Communication: Provide updates on repair progress, explain charges clearly, and address customer inquiries or concerns. Upselling and Sales: Recommend additional services or products when appropriate, contributing to overall sales and revenue. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction with the service provided, handle complaints and seek resolutions. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer records and enter data into computer databases. Teamwork: Collaborate with technicians and other service personnel to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Skills and Qualifications Excellent communication skills—verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Strong customer service skills, including handling complaints and maintaining a positive attitude. Problem‑solving ability, including identifying and resolving customer issues and communicating effectively with technicians. Sales skills, including the ability to up‑sell additional services and products. Organizational skills, including managing multiple tasks, scheduling appointments, and keeping records organized. Basic knowledge of automotive technology—understanding automotive systems and repair processes. Proficiency with computer systems and software, including scheduling, repair order management, and record‑keeping. Qualifications Previous Service Advisor experience required. Organized and friendly personality. Demonstrated ability to manage others. Time‑management skills. Fantastic communication skills with customers. Professional, well‑groomed personal appearance. Consistent record of service and sales success. Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results. Team oriented and self‑motivated. Able to work with little supervision. Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
