Director of Compensation

Leading the compensation strategy for a growing tech company, the full-time remote Director of Compensation will manage broad-based compensation programs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive equity compensation design while overseeing a high-performing team. Key responsibilities Own the design and delivery of annual and mid-year compensation cycles, ensuring precision and speed Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and senior leaders to provide actionable recommendations on compensation-related decisions Lead international compensation initiatives, developing frameworks and guidance for competitive and compliant pay as the company expands Required qualifications 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including 3 years in a leadership role Proven experience supporting large R&D or Engineering functions and advising senior leaders on complex compensation matters Deep expertise in equity compensation design and strategy within a tech company Experience building and scaling compensation programs, including job architecture and pay-for-performance frameworks Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into clear executive recommendations
