WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work alongside our pharmacists and pharmacy team to keep the pharmacy running smoothly and provide great service to our customers. Your day may include: Processing prescription refills and assisting with prescription workflow Answering phones and helping customers with questions and refill requests Using our pharmacy computer system to manage prescriptions and customer information Processing customer transactions and payments Completing prescription and patient intake information Counting and preparing medications using pharmacy equipment Restocking medication vials and pharmacy supplies Processing online and automatic refills Learning about DME products and services available to our customers Communicating professionally with customers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals Protecting customer privacy and following HIPAA requirements Helping create a positive experience for every customer who walks through our doorsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is: Friendly and customer-focused Organized and detail-oriented Reliable and ready to learn Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to communicate professionally with customers and healthcare professionals Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges Able to handle stressful situations with a positive attitude Pharmacy experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person!LEARN & GROW WITH US
Your development matters! Shrivers provides training and continuing education to help you build your pharmacy knowledge and grow your skills. You'll learn everything from prescription workflow and pharmacy technology to medication terminology, customer service, and pharmacy operations.REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to successfully pass an FBI/BCI background check Ability to meet required continuing education requirements Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday Evening and weekend availability may be requiredWHY SHRIVERS?
