Construction Superintendent

A well-established and growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Civil/Utility Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities from project startup through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety programs.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, and Inspectors to drive successful project execution.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop field teams, foremen, and trade personnel.
• Manage jobsite logistics, quality control, staffing needs, and trade coordination.
• Prepare project updates and communicate status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management or superintendent experience.
• Strong background leading commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Working knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, and construction best practices.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required. xhyhwjd
