Job Title ASL Interpreter About the Position Part‑time ASL Interpreter in a school setting, part of a multidisciplinary clinic providing services for deaf and hard‑of‑hearing students. Pay Range $38.00/hr - $50.00/hr (based on skills and experience) Exciting Opportunity! Join Our Team as an ASL Interpreter! Key Responsibilities Accurately interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classes, meetings, and school events. Work closely with faculty to provide effective communication support for deaf or hard‑of‑hearing students. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Collaborate with other school staff (e.g., TOT, SLP, Educational Audiology) to ensure seamless communication. Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in ASL interpretation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in ASL Interpreting or related field (or equivalent experience). Certification from RID. Completion of Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA). Strong communication and translation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dedication to providing high‑quality interpretation services. Benefits School holidays off.
