Marketing AssistantKPFF Consulting Engineers is hiring a full-time Marketing Assistant to join our structural engineering division in Portland, Oregon. This role will be responsible for helping to keep track of project data and assisting in content to support the firm's ongoing qualification requests and internal marketing initiatives. We take pride in our work and always strive for excellence in the services we provide.This is an in-person position that interacts with all levels of the firm, as well as clients and subconsultants.Responsibilities:Assist in preparation of subconsultant qualifications and proposal submissions, through the development of materials such as resumes, biographies and profiles, project descriptions, and other collateral materialsHelp maintain the marketing database by inputting and updating client, project, and other supporting information; maintain content library, including previous proposals, boilerplates, and visualsMonitor and report industry-related information including online publications, magazines, and blogsTrack publications and lead generation platforms; assist in the generation of internal newslettersPull project reports and update staff and internal resource informationHelp create various internal communications and company announcementsEdit/update marketing collateral such as presentations and brochuresAssist with internal document processing including reviewing, editing, and formatting documents or other client deliverablesInteract with and facilitate communications with staff and vendorsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits.Capacity to move around project sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communication, Education, Business or other relevant major OR a related combination of education and experience1-3 years of professional or internship experience, preferably in marketing or related fieldExperience in data entry or database managementExperience with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator) programsStrong organizational skills, with an ability to multitask and manage time effectivelyStrong writing, proofreading, copy-editing, formatting, and other document revision skillsExceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills and a desire to learnAbility to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrentlyAdditional InformationAt KPFF, we offer a rewarding career path that emphasizes autonomy, innovation, and professional development.
