Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

West suburbs of Chicago. Hybrid, 3 days on-site. Target to $150K plus bonus. A manufacturer is hiring an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning through a period of real change. A new ERP goes live this summer, and this person will build out the financial planning function inside it from the ground up. This is a builder's seat, not a maintainer's. The foundation is product costing. A strong costing background makes the capital planning side straightforward. Manufacturing FP&A experience is required. What you'll own: Annual plan and quarterly rolling forecast Capital expenditure planning and analysis Monthly product-line profitability, with clear explanation of variances to forecast and prior periods Cross-functional partnership to identify drivers of cost, profit, and operational performance Management reporting and performance metrics, built and continuously improved You’ll lead a team of three: a financial analyst, a staff accountant, and an ERP business analyst. What we’re looking for: 5+ years managing an FP&A function in a manufacturing organization 2+ years of people management Advanced financial modeling and executive-level presentation skills Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems Comfort bringing structure to evolving processes and working in and out of systems Hiring process is short: a 30-minute video screen, then an onsite. #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
