WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide home health clinical services according to each patient's individualized Plan of Care Perform nursing services within the scope of the Texas Nurse Practice Act Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate personnel Provide specialized nursing services as required Perform infusion therapy, wound care, PICC care, and lab draws Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Educate and counsel patients and families regarding nursing and related needs Collaborate with the BrightStar Care team and other healthcare professionals Provide both visits and shifts as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

Current and unrestricted Texas RN license 2-5 years of infusion experience preferred Wound care experience required Wound VAC experience required PICC care experience preferred Peripheral lab draw experience preferred Port experience is a plus Current CPR/BLS certification Recent TB test or chest X-ray Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance Ability to pass required background and drug screenings Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Willingness to travel throughout the DFW service area as assigned
