Job Details Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nursing Location: Laurinburg, NC 28352 Start Date: 09/14/2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Schedule: 3 shifts per week; rotating coverage includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights Hours per Week: 36 Orientation: 48 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Unit Focus: Labor, postpartum, antepartum, OB, and couplet care Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required; 3 years preferred Travel nursing experience preferred Active RN license required at time of submission Current BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required STABLE certification preferred Experience with antepartum, labor & delivery, postpartum, and OB nursing care Ability to provide couplet care and support basic med-surg needs for hysterectomy patients Epic EMR experience strongly preferred Two professional references from the last two years required Availability to work at least one holiday during the assignment Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate bedside care for laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients Support couplet care and newborn transition needs in a Labor & Delivery setting Care for OB patients with a variety of diagnoses, including induction, preeclampsia, labor, and postpartum recovery Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, triage, fetal monitoring, and related obstetric procedures Deliver patient education, discharge teaching, and family support throughout the care continuum Monitor maternal-fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote excellent patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical and safety protocols Apply now for this Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse job in Laurinburg, North Carolina, and join a supportive healthcare team today.
