Job Description:
As a Technical Business Analyst , you will lead comprehensive business analysis and gap analysis efforts across API-driven workflows, integrated enterprise platforms, and omnichannel delivery solutions. This role is responsible for identifying gaps in system connectivity, data flow, platform interactions, and content delivery while ensuring accurate and efficient data propagation across complex technology ecosystems.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and developers to analyze current-state and future-state processes, uncover integration challenges, define actionable requirements, and support the successful delivery of enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of business analysis expertise and technical understanding of APIs, web applications, data flows, and modern application architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across multiple projects and initiatives.

• Conduct comprehensive gap analysis across systems, APIs, workflows, platforms, and data flows.

• Document current-state and future-state business processes, system interactions, and dependencies.

• Analyze interconnected platforms including content management systems, translation platforms, APIs, and delivery channels.

• Evaluate and document end-to-end omnichannel content and data delivery workflows.

• Identify gaps in API functionality, system integrations, platform configurations, and data consistency.

• Assess frontend and backend interactions to ensure accurate data propagation and delivery.

• Analyze the impact of server-side rendering and client-side rendering on application performance and data accuracy.

• Work closely with technical teams to validate behavior across APIs, services, applications, and delivery layers.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements discussions.

• Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, process flows, and supporting documentation.

• Support testing efforts by ensuring appropriate coverage for integrations, dependencies, edge cases, and failure scenarios.

• Identify project risks related to integrations, platform behavior, data quality, and delivery mechanisms and escalate as needed.

• Analyze REST and GraphQL API behavior, schema alignment, query structures, and response consistency.

• Evaluate search and indexing platform performance, query behavior, and content discoverability.

• Assess application hydration processes and caching mechanisms to identify performance and delivery issues.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives.

• Proven experience leading end-to-end business analysis efforts throughout the project lifecycle.

• Strong expertise in conducting gap analysis across systems, integrations, APIs, workflows, and enterprise platforms.

• Experience working within integrated environments utilizing service-oriented or API-driven architectures.

• Strong understanding of requirements gathering, validation, documentation, and delivery support processes.

• Experience analyzing web applications utilizing server-side rendering (SSR), frontend frameworks, APIs, and content delivery networks (CDNs).

• Experience working across multiple enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and integrated ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL APIs, including query structures, schema design, request/response processing, and service interactions.

• Experience with search and indexing platforms such as OpenSearch or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of Angular applications, hydration behavior, client-side rendering, server-side rendering, and caching strategies.

• Ability to analyze end-to-end data flows across backend services, middleware, APIs, and frontend applications.

• Strong process mapping skills with experience documenting current-state and future-state workflows.

• Ability to identify integration gaps, content delivery issues, caching inconsistencies, and configuration problems.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business audiences.

• Experience producing clear, structured, and detailed business and technical documentation.

• Ability to lead analysis workstreams independently and drive clarity in complex and ambiguous environments.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
