ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Demetria Carter - State Farm Agent, plays a vital role in providing outstanding customer service and administrative support within Dee Carter State Farm Agency. This position is the first point of contact for clients answering phones, processing billing inquiries, and assisting with policy-related requests. The Service Specialist collaborates closely with the sales team to support retention efforts, maintain compliance, and contribute to the agencys growth and customer satisfaction goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Greet and welcome clients and visitors, ensuring a positive and friendly first impression.
• Assist customers with billing questions, payments, policy inquiries, and general service needs.
• Handle incoming mail, underwriter communications, and agency memos; distribute and follow up as needed.
• Support policy renewal and retention efforts through outreach and customer service.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and/or policy reviews
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely follow-up on service requests and retention calls.
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure smooth communication and support agency-wide goals.
• Follow established agency procedures and compliance requirements in handling customer data and financial transactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with State Farm products, systems, and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Texas Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Proven sales experience, preferably within insurance, financial services, or customer-focused environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed performance metrics.
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
