Key Responsibilities Your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will incorporate a range of responsibilities, including: Identifying and evaluating signs of mental health disorders in clients through conducting thorough assessments and detailed consultations. Applying evidence-based therapeutic interventions that meet the unique needs of clients and their families. Educating clients and their families on emotional and social factors related to mental health, providing workshops or training sessions to community groups as appropriate. Safeguarding the confidentiality and privacy of all client records and discussions, adhering to strict ethical standards. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that improve client outcomes. Acting as an advocate for clients during crises, ensuring immediate needs are addressed while promoting long-term solutions. Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and reviewing current best practices in mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sunrise Rehabilitation Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with a variety of mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in guiding clients from various backgrounds, helping them navigate through issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges while considering cultural sensitivities and individual needs. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Current licensure in the State of California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Strong clinical judgment skills and ability to provide timely, supportive consultations. Comprehensive knowledge of LMFT ethics and the scope of practice. Ability to engage respectfully and effectively with culturally diverse clients and stakeholders. Preferred Experience Candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting are preferred, particularly those with expertise in family therapy and crisis intervention. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and previous experience working in an outpatient setting will enhance your application. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
