Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations with clients to assess their mental health needs, establishing personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering positive outcomes.

• Facilitate individual, family, and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Engage with clients regularly to assess their progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, promoting a responsive and adaptive approach to care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation while upholding client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards set forth by professional guidelines.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including referrals to specialized services when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be serving a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and clinical backgrounds. You will work with clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Understanding the unique challenges that these populations face allows you to provide culturally competent care that meets their needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
