In Your Role, You Will

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, prescribe diagnostic tests, and develop customized treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic medical conditions autonomously or in partnership with physicians
• Educate patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness practices, and chronic disease management
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within your practice scope
• Engage in ongoing patient follow-ups and chronic care management initiatives
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to guarantee a seamless and holistic approach to patient care
• Accurately document all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

What We Seek in Your Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
