Senior HR Generalist

Senior Human Resources Generalist Hybrid – Salt Lake City, UT $75-90K/year, DOE A growing and dynamic organization is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a high-impact role partnering closely with leadership todrive HR initiatives, support employees, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness. About the Role This position plays a key role in managing and executing core HR functions including payroll, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and talent acquisition. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to navigate complex HR matters and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle payroll processing, including audits, reporting, and compliance Manage payroll-related reporting (ADP, GL entries, 401(k), ACA, W-2, etc.) Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns Lead benefits administration, including open enrollment and vendor coordination Manage full-cycle recruiting and partner with hiring managers on hiring strategies Oversee onboarding and enhance the new hire experience Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ACA, EEOC, OSHA) Conduct audits of HR processes, files, and payroll for accuracy and compliance Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree (HR or related field preferred) 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP preferred) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills High level of discretion and professionalism Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR reporting/analytics What We're Looking For A proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional Strong business partner who can influence and build relationships Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment PrincePerelson & Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
