Safety Director

We are working with a leading Central Florida-based renewable energy business who are looking for a Safety Director to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced safety professional to build and lead a safety function from the ground up, with real autonomy and a direct line into the COO, across a business with a growing multi-site footprint. Responsibilities Include: Leading day-to-day safety operations across multiple sites, including OSHA compliance and reporting Conducting site inspections, incident investigations and workers' compensation coordination Developing and rolling out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for field and crew safety Leading and delivering safety training and onboarding for field crews Traveling regularly across Florida and Georgia sites to support onboarding and field operations The ideal candidate will ideally possess: Significant experience in construction, solar, or a related field-based industry Strong working knowledge of OSHA compliance and workers' compensation processes Conversational Spanish, given a significant portion of the workforce speaks Spanish as a first language Experience training and leading safety programs for field-based crews A hands-on, autonomous approach, comfortable operating as the sole safety leader in the business Salary: $100,000-$120,000 total compensation (base + bonus) Lumin People is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency.
