Contract | Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | 3×12-Hour Shifts | Traveler may select a 36-hour or 48-hour per week contract | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients (18+) with complex medical conditions including acute brain injuries, chronic disease, and conditions requiring extended multidisciplinary treatment and rehabilitation
• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions and other serious or complex medical needs in a 20-room, up to 40-patient High Intensity Care Unit
• Support patients requiring ventilator management, pulmonary care, and acute rehabilitation services within a 24/7 care environment
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team approach to deliver comprehensive care to patients transitioning from acute-care settings such as the ICU
• Float within the health system within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Maintain strict compliance with facility time and attendance policies, including zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Valid Maryland RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must be comfortable caring for medically complex patients requiring respiratory support, cardiac monitoring, and extended rehabilitation
• Must remain flexible with scheduling; block scheduling is not available - all RTO and accommodation requests must be submitted with the initial submittal
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilator management and pulmonary care
• Strong cardiac monitoring and assessment skills
• Experience caring for patients transitioning from ICU or other acute-care settings
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary team care models in a long-term acute care or LTAC environment
