Staffing & Human Resources DirectorReports to: Executive Pastor - Ministries & CFOJob Location: Central - Arden, NC Position Type: Full time, ExemptSummary of Position: The Staffing & Human Resources Director is responsible for staff recruiting, hiring, onboarding, reviewing, and offboarding of staff at Biltmore Church. This role works closely with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, helps to coordinate and conduct interviews, oversees the staff review processes and serves as a human resources representative for the staff at Biltmore Church.Essential Qualities and Qualifications:A personal and active relationship with Jesus Christ modeled by a commitment to supporting the vision, leadership and theology of Biltmore ChurchA Christ-like testimony that is displayed inside and outside the workplaceAn expressed passion and calling for serving Jesus in a Kingdom-minded, fast-paced, local church settingPrepared to join in membership as an individual/family and make Biltmore Church your home church. Active involvement in a weekly Connect Group with Biltmore Church is encouraged.Demonstrates initiative with an ability to work effectively apart from close supervisionDetail oriented and strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same timeStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee, candidate, compensation, personnel, and organizational information3+ years of HR or recruiting experience is preferredEssential Responsibilities:Recruiting & HiringCreate and post all open positions, manage and respond to all View email address on click.appcast.io correspondence, schedule interviews, and follow up with all applicants not hiredConsult with hiring managers to determine hiring need, experience required, and preferred traits in order to define job descriptions and fill positions with the best possible candidatesReview applications/resumes and send to hiring managers to determine candidates to interviewConduct initial phone interviews with candidatesCreate offer packages for new hires in partnership with the Executive TeamOnboardingInitiate and coordinate onboarding of new employeesComplete all necessary and required new hire tasks and paperworkConduct training and orientation on the first day for all new hiresInitiate the 90-day review for new employeesOffboardingComplete all necessary and required offboarding tasksSend and review exit interviewsCompile and send exit interview notes and feedback to the manager and Executive Team as requestedSpecial Projects & MiscellaneousProvide leadership and support to the ReceptionistMaintain employee records according to policy and legal requirementsListen to confidential employee concerns and issues as HR liaisonOversee staff evaluation processesMaintain the staff org chart and job descriptionsAssist the Executive Team in maintaining, updating and interpreting employee handbookSend out staff update emails as requested by Executive TeamOther duties as assigned
