Electrical Estimator/PM

Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial and/or industrial construction projects Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity takeoffs and labor calculations Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Develop project budgets and bid proposals Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities Participate in bid reviews and client meetings as needed Manage awarded projects from kickoff through closeout Coordinate with field supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and manpower planning Prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation Track project costs and profitability Attend project meetings and maintain strong client communication Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget Support field teams and assist with problem-solving throughout project execution Qualifications 5+ years of electrical estimating and/or project management experience Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with estimating software; we utilize EBM Knowledge of NEC codes and construction practices Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Journeyman electrician or field experience preferred Experience with projects ranging from $500K to over $2M Design‑build experience Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Viewpoint, or Microsoft Project Competitive salary based on experience; starting salary $115,000 Performance bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Location This position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits. #J-18808-Ljbffr Benson Electrical Contracting, Inc.
