You’ll provide right-of-way support for:
The Hudson Tunnel Project (Gateway Development Corporation)

– adding a new tunnel beneath the Hudson River, serving Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor and New Jersey Transit commuters traveling to Penn Station.
Newark Penn Station Modernization

– revitalizing a major transit hub with modern upgrades while honoring and preserving its historic architecture.

We’re Looking for Someone Who

Experience:

Minimum of ten (10) years of Right of Way acquisition experience; Must include three (3) years of project management experience.
Experience using the Uniform Relocation Act
Understanding of project financials
Experience creating/maintaining project schedules
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and electronic databases
Must own an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC systems

Compensation for this position is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and employee travel reimbursements.

Legal and Compliance

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. The role involves substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high computer usage. The employee will spend significant time in front of a computer screen and must be able to present to large groups, make quick decisions, supervise staff and have difficult conversations. Travel to meet with clients or vendors or industry events may be required, including long durations, and may involve outdoor exposure to elements.
