Area Manager - Tyler, Tx / Shreveport, LA - Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Heart Recovery

Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson seeks an Area Manager for cardiovascular medical device sales covering Tyler, Texas to Shreveport, Louisiana. The role involves promoting Impella® products to physicians and hospitals, developing new market opportunities, and leading clinical teams to drive adoption and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Promote and sell Impella® product line to physicians, cardiac surgeons, and hospital administrators
Identify new customer opportunities and lead efforts to activate additional medical centers
Develop account and territory business plans and build market programs
Exceed sales quotas for assigned territory
Lead clinical teams to drive Impella® adoption and market awareness initiatives

Requirements

8+ years sales experience with 5+ years in cardiovascular medical device sales
Proven track record selling into catheterization labs or surgical suites
Demonstrated success leading and motivating teams to achieve quotas
Strong knowledge of interventional cardiology
Direct patient support experience and availability for emergent care
Ability to travel up to 50% overnight
Bachelor's degree preferred or 7 years cardiology industry experience
