Job Description Job Title: Accounting Manager Location: Greensboro, GA , In-person Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday Pay rate: $70,000- $85,000 (DOE) Company Overview: TMI Calibration, established in 1991, is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration laboratory providing calibration, repair, asset management, and on-site services for test and measurement equipment. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting function and support financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate is an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities. This role requires attention to accuracy, accountability, and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP). Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Prepare financial records and supporting documentation for internal and external audits. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies. Communicate with managers, vendors, and internal departments regarding accounting-related matters. Provide leadership and support to accounting staff as needed. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency. Perform additional accounting duties as assigned. Requirements and Skills: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience and previous leadership or supervisory experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience with full-cycle accounting, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), month-end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and audit preparation. Strong bookkeeping and accounting generalist background. Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Office (Excel required). Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work additional hours during month-end close and audit periods as needed. U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
