You'll train the Guides who interact directly with students, shaping them into outstanding coaches rather than traditional instructors. You'll facilitate life skills workshops that students recall years afterward. You'll analyze performance data to pinpoint where students or Guides are underperforming and guide them toward excellence. You'll also manage your own student cohort, demonstrating the standards you uphold for others. The impact multiplies exponentially. Each Guide you develop affects dozens of students. What You Will Be Doing Develop and coach Guides to execute Alpha's coaching model with reliability, enthusiasm, and unwavering standards. Facilitate dynamic life skills workshops addressing communication, concentration, feedback, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students using established frameworks. Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to surface coaching needs, eliminate obstacles, and produce measurable progress weekly. Conduct motivation sessions that empower every student to embrace ambitious objectives and reliably accomplish them. Oversee your own student cohort while exemplifying the coaching quality and accountability you require from all Guides. What You Won’t Be Doing Delivering instruction in academic subjects. Students progress through core academics autonomously using AI-powered learning tools. Developing lesson plans or instructional content. Your focus is outstanding coaching, not materials creation. Controlling classrooms via lectures, worksheets, or behavioral management systems. Students direct their learning, and you coach the behaviors that enable achievement. Reducing standards to sidestep challenging discussions. Rigorous expectations and authentic belief in each student's capability are inseparable. Defining success through activity volume rather than impact. Outcomes carry more weight than effort by itself. Leadership Coach Key Responsibilities Establish a coaching environment in which outstanding Guides reliably produce students who are passionate about school, advance academically at an accelerated rate, and cultivate the resilience, leadership, and life competencies necessary to thrive well beyond the classroom setting. Basic Requirements Available to work on campus in Dallas, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Austin, TX; or Fort Worth, TX (relocation assistance available). Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline. 5+ years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or comparable field. Demonstrated experience managing an ongoing team of five or more adults, holding final or primary decision-making authority for hiring and performance-based terminations. Consistent, recurring accountability for the learning, behavior, motivation, or development of children ages 5-14 within educational, developmental, athletic, or youth leadership contexts. Documented history of building, launching, or substantially scaling a program, team, school, business, or initiative from inception, not merely sustaining or inheriting existing operations. Demonstrated capacity to leverage performance data and metrics to identify issues, prioritize interventions, and achieve quantifiable outcomes. Comfort working in an educational environment that intentionally rejects conventional pedagogy. Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Nice-to-have Requirements Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline. Background in athletic coaching, outdoor or experiential education leadership, camp direction, youth programming, or other cohort-focused organizations. Experience developing or managing innovative education initiatives, EdTech ventures, tutoring operations, nonprofit programs, or learning models beyond conventional classroom instruction. Record of extraordinary personal accomplishment in academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or leadership domains.
