Job Opportunity: OB Hospitalist

Join our dedicated team consisting of:

• 1 Full-Time OB Hospitalist
• 1 Part-Time OB Hospitalist
• 3 PRN OB Hospitalists
• 1 OBGYN
• 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• 2 Midwives

We handle a significant number of births annually and require our OB Hospitalists to work:

• 7 shifts of 24 hours each month

Our facility features a Level II NICU, staffed around the clock by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses, with an on-site blood bank available for emergencies.

This position also offers a teaching opportunity for Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students, who are present in Labor & Delivery 24/7. In-house specialists are readily available for consultation and collaboration in various areas, including:

• Cardiology
• Orthopedics
• Reconstructive Surgery
• Anesthesiology

We maintain a strong collaborative relationship with our Perinatology team to ensure high-risk obstetric management and seamless specialty consultations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, which includes:

• Base Salary: $400,000 per year
• Bonus Package: $150,000
• Moving Allowance: Up to $15,000
• Annual CME Allowance: $6,000

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school
• Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician
• Board certified or board eligible, with the ability to obtain medical staff privileges at our facility
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Licensed or eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, including an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
