What You'll Be DoingAs our Assistant Cook, you'll play a vital role in delivering the flavorful, authentic Jamaican dishes our customers know and love. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of Jamaican dishes, including natural Jamaican juices.
- Assisting with inventory counts and organizing products received.
- Ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by being versatile and adaptable to various tasks.
- Lifting and handling products weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- A strong ability to cook authentic Jamaican cuisine.
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Versatility and a proactive attitude in the kitchen.
