Payroll Clerk

Recruiting Solutions is hiring a Payroll Clerk for a company in Florence, SC. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while ensuring accurate payroll processing. This is atemp-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits upon permanent hire.


Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $21.00 - 25.00/hr depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time -- Monday - Friday
• Upon permanent hire, employees are eligible for health insurance, paid leave, and retirement benefits.

• Collect, review, and verify employee timesheets
• Process payroll, including hours worked, leave time, and payroll adjustments
• Prepare direct deposits, payroll tax payments, and employee deductions
• Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Enter and update new hires, terminations, and salary changes
• Assist with accounts payable data entry
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general office support
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
• Maintain strict confidentiality with employee and payroll information

• High school diploma required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Five (5) or more years of payroll or related accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
