Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring prompt, efficient, and compassionate treatment. Oversees the coordination of care among multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival to determine priority and acuity levels.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and update care strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least two years of recent experience in emergency or acute care.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
