Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 3x12 Nights in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ER patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse reactions, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, and other disciplines to coordinate timely and effective care.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and family communication to ensure safe transitions.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California) — Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider — Required
- ACLS and PALS certification from an approved provider — Required
- At least two years of recent RN experience in acute care or ER setting — Required
- BSN degree preferred
