Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER using the nursing process, prioritizing stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients
- Triage patients, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition; administer medications and treatments per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Conduct ongoing assessments, document findings, and adjust care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Supervise and coordinate activities of licensed and ancillary staff; ensure patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC acceptable)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in emergency or acute care settings
- Additional: Ability to work the night shift in a fast-paced ER environment; ability to work across a dynamic care team
