Psychiatrist Relocation Assistance ProvidedEmployment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days | Day ShiftLocation: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon)Compensation: $350K - $385K+ per yearWe are seeking an innovative and energetic Physician who enjoys professional autonomy and working with a supportive, caring group of healthcare professionals! You'll join a growing Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon. You will play a key role in growing our behavioral health and primary care services.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient populationOversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress to ensure therapeutic efficacy and safetyPartner with Primary Care providers and Behavioral Health specialists to provide a "whole-patient" approach to healthDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders)Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team, contributing to workforce training and the development of clinical protocolsUtilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate clinical chartingProvide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center environment when psychiatric expertise is required for acute patient stabilizationParticipate in community-based initiatives to reduce the stigma of mental health and improve access to care in the regionQualificationsMedical Degree (MD) from an accredited schoolCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in PsychiatryActive, unrestricted State Medical LicenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible in General PsychiatryStrong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive total compensation opportunity up to $385k+ comprised ofQuality incentives up to $45,500Commencement bonus of $30k$8,000 annual CME, licensing, dues, subscription + paid CME timeStudent loan assistanceHospital employedFull benefits including a 401k match & paid malpracticePTO
