Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Work to repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning.
- Handles any electrical routines such as replacing light bulbs, batteries on smoke alarms, and ballasts when necessary.
- Perform plumbing duties, including unclogging sinks, toilets, repairs faucets, etc.
- Assists with snow and ice removal as needed.
- Maintain an atmosphere which allows privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents, staff, and visitors in a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to off-hours critical calls to resolve facility issues.
Maintenance Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facility maintenance work with an emphasis in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds, push, pull, and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc., up to 200 pounds.
- Flexible work hours in order to work beyond normal work hours, weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather, when necessary.
- Must have your own tools
