Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master / Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for establishing and managing a variety of projects to deliver desired business oues. The selected candidate will lead initiatives involving large-scale application development, systems integration, and process reengineering. As the primary point of contact for technology delivery, this position involves managing project financials, mitigating risks, and partnering with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Guide projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents arepleted, and required tracking systems are kept updated

Develop and manage the project plan

Identify, assign, track, escalate, and resolve issues

Schedule and facilitate regular meetings to review progress and status, and ad hoc topical meetings; formulate agendas and document minutes and action items

Effectivelymunicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines, and support needed

Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies

Provide project status on deliverables and escalate issues to senior leaders and executives

Partner with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change

Manage project financials and required documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

7+ years of end-to-end project management experience

Agile Certification

Experience as an Agile Scrum Master or RTE

Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Strong Change Management skills and experience

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and writtenmunication skills

Strong project financial management skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Agile tools like Jira

Desired skills:

PMP Certification

Familiarity with SAFe methodology

Experience working in the financial industry

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
