Job Description

The Office Assistant will provide essential support to the Office Manager by managing day-to-day office operations. This role involves performing reception duties, handling phone communications, updating job records weekly, managing collections, and assisting the office manager with various administrative tasks. The position requires occasional handling of confidential information and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite along with specialized office management software. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with several benefits available after the first year of employment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform reception duties including answering phones and communicating with office staff.
  • Enter and update job information into office systems on a daily basis
  • Manage correspondence and maintain records accurately
  • Support customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with collections
  • Assist the office manager with daily administrative tasks
  • Handle phone communications professionally and efficiently

 

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in office administration
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
