Licensed Vocational Nurse (Private Residence) Shift Care Location: City of Murrieta Shifts Available: Monday through Sunday Shift Options: Morning, Mid Day, Night Hours Flexible Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time available Compensation: $29.00 - $31.00 Hourly + $500 Bonus Keeping families whole by providing the care they need to stay together! Job Summary: A qualified Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse administers one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in their residence, following physician orders and care plans under RN supervision, in accordance with agency policies. Qualifications: Graduate of a state-approved practical (vocational) nursing program and licensed in California. 1+ year nursing experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome! Current CPR certification. Alignment with the agency's philosophy and goals. Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment. Responsibilities: Follow established policies and procedures. Implement individualized nursing care plans. Provide nursing services, treatments, and preventive procedures as assigned. Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Monitor and report signs, symptoms, and reactions to treatments to physicians and RNs. Educate and counsel patients and families about care needs and related issues at home. Maintain clinical and progress notes.
