Join to apply for the Maintenance Utility Worker role at Sysco . Job Summary This is an Operations position responsible for checking oil, fluids, tire pressure, and fueling all equipment. Responsibilities Fuel all delivery equipment daily. Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily. Assist the fleet shop when needed. Coordinate with fleet shop and night warehouse management to prepare equipment for use. Wash trailers per FSQA schedule. Maintain cleanliness of parking lot and keep it free of debris. Support night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience and education. Experience 1-3 months of related experience or training. Professional Skills Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence. Effective at presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating. Apply common sense to carry out instructions. Learn to operate and back-up tractor-trailers and straight trucks. Physical Demands Stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, and hear regularly. Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently. Occasionally sit. Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
