Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembly

Job Description

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in building units that involve various sizes of gears and some soldering tasks. You will be responsible for the precise assembly of electrical and mechanical products, following all assembly procedures, process plans, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret process plans, specifications, procedures, prints, and policies.
• Solder electrical components onto circuit boards using hand processes.
• Assemble small precision parts and components per applicable instructions and generally accepted practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Operate computers and applicable software to test assemblies and document results.
• Provide warranty, rework, and repair functions per applicable instructions.
• Maintain correct time reporting and accurate entries on manufacturing and inspection records.
• Comply with company quality and safety requirements.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle small delicate parts.
• Ability to follow assembly procedures and processes.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in soldering and assembly.
• Training in LEAN Manufacturing.
• Basic computer experience in word processing programs for documentation.

Work Environment

This position operates in a clean, organized, well-lit, and temperature-controlled shop environment with moving machinery. Working hours are 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to midnight. The role requires some lifting up to 50 pounds and may involve bending or standing as necessary.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
