Business Insurance Senior Account Manager

Responsibilities Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email and in person. Execute a comprehensive client service plan for all assigned accounts that addresses their business needs and risk management goals. Lead the client service team in service activities related to administration, billing, claims issues and problem solving. Coordinate internal and external activities to ensure both new and renewal accounts are handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Continuously seek cross‑sell opportunities and suggest new lines of coverage. Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients, coordinating meetings with clients and/or producers to present renewals and supporting documents. Lead the marketing of smaller, less complex accounts. Independently prepare marketing information for smaller and/or less complex accounts for producer or client, and provide required information to the producer. Manage the implementation process; prepare and deliver all applicable forms to client. Formulate a plan with the producer to conduct relationship management meetings and/or visits with assigned clients. Use the client management system(s) to update policies, log activities, document meetings, follow up on service issues, and acquire information to assist clients. Attend seminars, classes and carrier meetings to remain informed of new products and legislative changes. Mentor team members. Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training. Five years of relevant insurance industry experience. Appropriate insurance license(s). Strong client relationship skills, excellent communication, service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness in resolving client and company issues. Leadership skills, including providing direction, constructive feedback, development and training, and motivating others to maximize productivity and team morale. Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight. Applicants must be within driving distance to our Kennesaw, GA office and able to commute a minimum of three times per week. Additional qualifications that are a plus, but not required to apply: Advanced degree. Certification in field of endeavor. Experience with Requests for Proposal.
