Trust and Estate Tax Supervisor

Review complex gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns, including related schedules and forms Review fiduciary accountings for estates and trusts Provide tax planning and consulting for high net worth clients on estate and individual income taxes Research and consult on estate, gift, and trust-related issues Identify additional estate and income tax planning opportunities Oversee client billing and collections Manage, coach, and mentor staff, seniors, and supervisors Research and draft memoranda involving complex tax matters Oversee complete tax research projects for diverse clients and industries Manage multiple engagements concurrently and meet client deadlines Conduct discussions on team member evaluations and provide counsel Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA License preferred or plan to obtain license At least 4 years of public accounting experience Exceptional client service and communication skills Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills Strong attention to detail Proven innovative problem-solving skills Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in reviewing complex gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns while providing tax planning and consulting for high net worth clients.
