This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and restocking supplies, to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation. The House Attendant will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while managing time efficiently. Ultimately, the House Attendant contributes significantly to the smooth operation and positive atmosphere of the household or facility they serve. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and safe handling practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in housekeeping or hospitality services. Experience working in private residences or hospitality environments. Familiarity with laundry equipment and fabric care. Basic knowledge of minor household repairs and maintenance. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately. Responsibilities: Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures. Maintain cleanliness and order in all assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces. Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and clothing as needed. Restock household supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and kitchen essentials to ensure availability at all times. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to management to prevent further issues. Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a healthy environment. Assist with organizing household items and managing waste disposal responsibly. Provide courteous and professional interaction with household members and guests. Skills: The required skills such as attention to detail and physical stamina are essential for effectively completing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to a high standard. Organizational skills help the House Attendant manage time efficiently and maintain orderly spaces, ensuring that all areas are consistently well-kept.
