Tax Accountant - Entry Level

ENTRY-LEVEL ACCOUNTANT – CPA Firm (West Covina, California) Join our well-established Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm in West Covina, CA! We are seeking an Entry-Level Accountant who is passionate about accounting and ready to contribute preparing various tax returns, compiling financial statements, and supporting client service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review corporate, partnership, trust and individual tax returns Assist with financial statement audits, reviews and related assurance tasks Communicate with clients on tax, accounting, and financial matters Conduct basic tax and accounting research as needed Maintain accuracy, organization, and high attention to detail Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam or intent to pursue CPA licensure preferred Public or private accounting experience is a plus Strong proficiency in Excel and computer skills Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple deadlines Ability to handle multiple deadlines Well organized, strong attention to detail and professional This is an on‑site position in West Covina, CA Hourly Rate Range: $25 - $28 (based on experience) If you are looking for a long-term opportunity with a supportive CPA firm and meet the qualifications above, please submit your resume.
