Licensed Practical Nurse

Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in directing nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring quality care for patients. Key Responsibilities Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance. Observe patients for symptoms or reactions indicating adverse changes. Notify physicians of emergencies or patient deaths and implement orders as instructed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Nursing School. Valid license from the applicable state nursing board. Willingness to serve as a charge nurse and work during emergencies for coverage. Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate genuine interest in geriatric nursing. Annual CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
