About the Role
LBAPS is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our Flatbush team. In this role, you’ll provide speech therapy services to students, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and work closely with families and staff to strengthen each child’s communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New York State licensure and SLP certification required
- Experience working with children, preferably in educational settings
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
