Staffing Coordinator – Full-Time The Greens at Erwin – Erwin, Tennessee The Greens at Erwin is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Staffing Coordinator to join our team! This position works closely with nursing staff and facility leadership to coordinate schedules, manage staffing changes, and help maintain smooth day-to-day operations. Position Details Full-Time Location: Erwin, Tennessee Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Setting Competitive Pay Supportive Leadership Team What You’ll Do As the Staffing Coordinator , you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage throughout the facility. Key responsibilities include: Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts Make scheduling adjustments for call-offs, vacations, time-off requests, and staffing needs Communicate schedule assignments and changes to employees in a timely and professional manner Maintain accurate records of employee availability, time-off requests, and schedule changes Work closely with nursing leadership and other department leaders to identify and address staffing needs Help minimize unnecessary overtime and agency usage when possible Utilize scheduling software and other tools to maintain accurate and efficient schedules Address scheduling conflicts and last-minute staffing changes promptly and professionally Maintain compliance with company policies, staffing guidelines, and applicable healthcare requirements What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Previous scheduling experience in healthcare, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience using scheduling or workforce management software preferred Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle call-offs, staffing changes, and scheduling conflicts professionally Knowledge of healthcare staffing requirements and regulations is a plus Why Join The Greens at Erwin?
