Key Responsibilities Staff Leadership: Mentoring teachers, providing feedback, conducting evaluations, and overseeing classroom staff and volunteers. Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and health/safety standards. Curriculum Development: Coordinating developmentally appropriate curriculum and ensuring quality instruction. Operations Management: Handling daily routines, scheduling, enrollment, and administrative tasks. Family Engagement: Addressing parent inquiries and building positive relationships. Qualifications (Typical for California) Education: Typically requires an Associate’s degree (or 60 units) with at least 24 Early Childhood Education (ECE)/Child Development (CD) units. Specific Training: Usually requires 6 semester units in administration and 2 units in adult supervision.
