Our organization is commencing a search for a Hepatologist to join us at the Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine level.

• Deliver direct outpatient care to patients with Hepatology conditions, primarily at our hospital and clinics.

• Conduct routine endoscopic procedures for Hepatology patients.

• Provide inpatient care on a rotating basis as part of an APP-led Hepatology Service.

• Participate in an on-call rotation.

• Engage in clinical research studies, with opportunities to initiate new projects.

• Instruct residents and fellows in their training.

• MD or DO degree.

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Transplant Hepatology is preferred.

• Possession of a valid, unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligibility to apply (license must be obtained prior to credentialing).

• Ability to provide case logs for procedures performed in the last two years for credentialing purposes.

• Strong understanding of and ability to apply medical principles, procedures, and techniques.

• Commitment to maintaining CME to fulfill institutional and state licensing requirements.

• Demonstrated clinical expertise to ensure safe, high-quality patient care that meets institutional standards.

• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is also necessary.

• Valid DEA license is required.
