This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job Title Asbestos Supervisor Location Corporate Headquarters - Wichita, KS 67211 US (Primary) Job Type Full-time Job Classification Hourly Exemption Type Non-Exempt Shifts Based on client needs Salary Grade $23.00 - $24.00 Education High School Diploma / GED Travel Up to 50% Overnight Job Description Supervises and provides asbestos abatement, remediation and demolition services to numerous iSi customers in accordance with applicable regulations and in a manner that will meet facility required production rates. Job Requirements Position Responsibilities Supervise and perform asbestos abatement, remediation, demolition Supervise a team of 1-2 leads and 5-10 laborers, handling minor Perform air sampling and submit cassettes and air sheets in a timely Perform work in accordance with State and Federal regulations Supervise and perform lead abatement activities as needed Ensure employee compliance with safety policies and proper use of Ensure safe operation of power tools, lifts, motor vehicles, and Conduct daily toolbox safety meetings with crew personnel Enforce safety policies and train new hires for compliance Operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable Develop knowledge of client facilities and operations Provide customer service to client representatives and regulatory Track usage of supplies and equipment Inspect and track crew work Complete required project paperwork, such as timesheets, JSAs, and Submit required paperwork to Accounting Department for monthly Provide additional support as needed and other projects using a variety of techniques personnel issues manner personal protective equipment (PPE) other equipment regulations agencies safety meetings and submit in a timely manner expense tracking Knowledge Skills And Abilities 40-hour Asbestos Supervisor training 2-3 years prior experience in asbestos abatement 5 years prior supervisory experience, supervising crew of up to 10 people Strong knowledge of KDHE regulations Excellent verbal communication skills Strong ability to work safely with equipment Excellent problem-solving skills Strong customer service orientation Strong team player Regular attendance and punctuality Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record Preferred Skills And Abilities Bilingual (English and Spanish) Commercial drivers license 24-hour HAZWOPER training Forklift certification DOT driver certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
