Automation Manager

Our client is a well known global manufacturer with US HQ in the Allentown PA area.

At this time, they are hoping to attract an Automation Manager to lead their manufacturing operations worldwide.

The Global Automation Manager will:

drive success and make an impact in healthcare, pharmaceutical or food industries
direct and control resources, manage large capital equipment projects and solve complex problems in an entrepreneurial manufacturing environment.
set direction and introduce new technology for capital process equipment manufacturing
drive integration of leading-edge technologies and new product platforms for both hardware and software.
lead team of 15 - 20 Engineers and Technicians in developing customized machine control hardware/software integration including PLC, HMI and DCS

Requirements:

Engineering Degree
Experience with Rockwell/DeltaV Automation Platform
Understanding of where Automation industry is headed and how to get there
Knowledge of S88 based Batch Automation design in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry
Budget and Progress tracking experience
Programming of PLC, HMI and DCS components, Testing, Verification and Validation of systems
Integration of a smaller system into large scale plant (i.e.
